The System aims to produce and distribute about (250 thousand) cubic meters of drinking water per day from (106) production wells in the Ghadames Basin area to the population centers through (26) feeding holes located in the western part of the areas of Jabal Nafusa (Awlaas Mahmoud, Al-Mujabrah, Kabau, Tamzin, Tandamira, Al-Haraba through Nalut and Tkut) and the western part of (Jefara Plain and Qadam Al-Jabal) and extending from the cities west of the Nafusa Mountains (Al-Hawamid, Al-Ruwais through Tiji and Badr to Shakshuk in the east) and then north to the cities of the western coast passing through (Alotiya, Ajilat, Sabratha, Sorman, Al-Josh, Abu Issa and even Al-Zawia in the east) and from (Al-Jamil, Zwara, Ragdalin, Zoltan to Abu Guammash in the west).
